yesterday a norweian prof with her students came to our lab to see our facility. The funny thing is that if you see this lady on the street you would not know in a million years that she is a prof!!she was too cute to be a prof;)
tuesday night I met a guy on the subway who was an engineer..actually I introduced myself to him since I saw his iron ring!and we started talking and he finally gave me his card since he thought that his wife might be able to do introduce me to some contact were she works!!so I told my labmate at U of T that instead of all the conventional stuff that we are doing and it doesn't work we should sit one day in the subway from morning till midnight;)and look around and see if we can find some engineers!!!even last night I was talking to my fellow labmates on the subway and there was another guy standing near us and started talking to us..he had the same problem except he was a medical doctor from Europe!so its funny..I can even start a debate on the subway while we are riding on it:)!!!
